Sharon’s Music

Album Collection of Sharon Ruchman, Classical Music Composer

Sharon Ruchman is an original classical music composer who embraces different styles and instrumentation. She writes pieces that are strikingly expressive, creates soothing music for those quiet evenings, and constructs lyrical movements to surprise and delight her listeners.

Sharon’s first classical music CD, entitled “Sharon Ruchman Chamber Music,” was released in 2009. This album features the melodic, Debbusy-esque “Sea Glass,” composed for piano, cello and violin. Since then, Sharon has composed prolifically and has released a new album each year. In 2010 two of her pieces, “Day at Play” and “Day’s End” were performed during the 10th Annual Hartford Women Composers Festival during the Local Composers Concert.

In October of 2012, Sharon released her latest album, “Textures.” In response to many requests, Sharon has compiled a new CD of wedding music to be released sometime in the spring of 2013.
