Washington, Conn., May 2013 – As a lively, visual accompaniment to the original music of classical music composer and pianist Sharon Ruchman, she has released a captivating Love & Ceremony – Wedding Music video.
Composer of four previous classical music CDs, Ruchman commented about her newly-released Love & Ceremony – Wedding Music CD that, “All of my compositions are original. So more often than not, it is music that few other marrying couples have integrated into their wedding ceremony. It is my belief that because it is original music, it will innately stand out, and the wedding couple and their guests will long remember the music of the ceremony.”
Ceremony Wedding Music Video Compiled from Original Classical CDs
A prolific classical music composer, Sharon Ruchman released her fourth CD of original music, Textures in 2012. In 2011, she released her third self-composed CD, Remembrance. She released Arrival of Spring in 2010, and her first CD was released in 2009 titled Chamber Music featuring “Sea Glass.” “The music in me is fluid and continual,” she commented. “For this newest CD, I compiled compositions from all of my previous CDs into music I believe offers a distinctive background for many types of wedding ceremonies.”
Sharon Ruchman’s Love & Ceremony – Wedding Music video begins with pre-ceremony music in her song, “Flute & Piano Duet OP3: II Allegretto” from her Remembrance CD. As Ruchman’s original music plays, guests are shown arriving at various wedding venues. “There are many traditional classical pieces on this CD that are perfect for this pre-ceremony time,” stated Ruchman. “The initial tracks provide eleven minutes of romantic, soft, joy-filled ceremony prelude music to warmly greet guests and to help build the excitement leading up to the procession.”
This pre-ceremony portion of the video moves from a groom and his best man as they approach a ceremony setting to guests entering a church and greeting one another. It journeys to the excitement of the arrival of bridesmaids followed by groomsmen. Ruchman’s music escalates with the heightened excitement of the arrival of various brides at their long-dreamed-of wedding ceremonies.
Processional music on Ruchman’s Love & Ceremony – Wedding Music CD is taken from her Awakening CD. Setting an elegant tone, the video shows brides walking toward their grooms on the arms of their proud fathers. “This music selection,” stated Ruchman, “offers a traditional tone such as Felix Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March.” Processional music can also be somewhat less predictable and still mesmerize attendees as the bride processes up the aisle. This album offers three pieces that are perfect for processions of the wedding party and the bride herself.” In the video, brides are shown walking up aisles of a grand cathedral and various churches, moving elegantly across a richly-green lawn, and gliding beautifully down a long winding staircase to unite with their smiling grooms.
For recessional music, Ruchman chose a lively composition, Awakening: III, featured on her first CD, Chamber Music. “This portion of the video,” she explained, “shows a lively collection of happy brides and grooms immediately after their ceremonies. Recessions feature brides, grooms and bridal parties exiting from churches, outdoor and elaborate mansion settings. This very lively and uplifting composition is filled with great happiness, excitement, anticipation and most of all, love.”
Sharon Ruchman stated that the music on her Love & Ceremony – Wedding Music CD is a culmination of carefully-selected tracks from all of her four CDS. “This CD offers a distinctive element for creating the perfect romantic tone for a wedding ceremony.” On her website, she advises brides to utilize the music on this CD as a mix of prelude music (also known as pre-ceremony music, played as guests first arrive and mill about), processional music and recessional wedding music during the entire ceremony. The entire CD can also be played to greet guests with prelude music as they arrive at the wedding venue.
Wedding Music CD as Gift to Guests
Created as an alternative to traditional party-favor type gifts for wedding guests, Ruchman added, “This CD can also be a distinctive remembrance gift to give to wedding guests to play again and again for years to come.”
